Welcome to Dance Dynamics, my name is Jodie Lofts, and I am the owner/instructor of a wonderful small dance studio, here in Port Elgin, Ontario.

I started dancing when I was 7yrs old.  My class was held at the local recreation center, and it was there that I met my best dance friends.

By the time I was 10, the bright lights and sequins had won me over.  Festivals and recitals became a big part of my life.  Local, national, and international competitions were incredible as we brought home award after award.

As a teen I was at the studio almost every day.  Tap and jazz classes had now expanded to ballet, modern, national, musical theater and it was also at this time that I started teaching classes.

When I was 16, dance came full circle, when I started teaching classes at the same recreation center where it all began.

Eventually, my husband and I moved from our hometown to Port Elgin.  In the late 90’s, we were fortunate enough to move into a house that needed some repair.  It was then I realized it was time to start teaching dance again. 

The studio was built as part of our repairs and has seen many years of dancers grow and enjoy the art of dance.

The underlying philosophy of my studio is for dancers to have fun. 

Age-appropriate music and costumes are all part of my family centered studio goals.
